Three of the many tasks Lee does to keep our place beautiful. Photo above: Lee is reflected in the greenhouse as he shovels snow. Photo right: Pyro Lee burns yard waste. Photo below: our neighbors Martin and Barb help Lee pull out the trees that have fallen in the river.

We had another pine tree that looked like it might fall into our neighbor's yard or house with the next strong wind, so we had it taken down. That left a lot of space needing de-weeding and replanting. Maybe we'll see the results next year.
We left our tattered, torn and faded flag up for over a year past when we should have replaced it. We felt it was symbollic of the state of our nation and state.

The 2018 elections gave us hope again that our nation and state will survive the gerrymandering disaster of 2016, and will again be the nation conceived by our founding constitution.
