We raised the foundation of the pump house -- in the hope that future flood waters will not push it away again.

Placed more large stones around the pond in order to firm up the sides and make it easier to rake the pond scum when needed.

Had more dirt brought in and spread around to fill in the ruts and low places around our new "barn" and along the pond and river. Grass was planted and straw put down to protect the newly spread seed.

Brought the bell from the Potter farm and installed it on a post we had placed beside the deck. Now, when one of us is down by the river, the other of us can ring the bell to get his (or her) attention when needed.

In the house, we had all the downstairs windows replaced (except those in the sunroom), so now we have good windows throughout the house.
