Barnett Greetings 2022
Thanksgiving with the Abedians
The hosting of Thanksgiving (Dot's side) used to be at Dot & Lee's home (for 20 years). But ever since last year when the Julie and Saip Abedians (Dot's neice) purchased a beautiful spacious home on Tipsico Lake in Michigan, they have generously taken on that responsibility. This year saw family members come from Canada, New York , California and Oregon to join the celebration with us still in Michigan, including the UP.

Here we see most of the celebrants eagerly waiting for the "GO" sign to join the feast.

We did some "baby-sitting" while Lee's neice Dawn took her mother Janet for some appointments. Twice: once at the zoo in Grand Rapids, and once in Pentwater.
Get-togethers with the Barnett families
Meanwhile, back on the home front, Dot found a couple Halloween wigs, we had to try on one last time before giving them to neices and nephews who can make better use of them.
One more time of blowing the leaves off the roof before the weather turns!
And we find ourselves "watching the news" more these days, in this position.
We are not sure what was the most fun: face paintings, camel rides, or playing on the rope swings, but what was amazing was how these two bundles of energy stayed patiently still while paint was being applied to their faces!

Swinging on the beach was fun, also.
